Logic? Lolwut?

Apparently there is a gigantic recall on blinds today. Because... Get this...

Kids can strangle themselves on the cords.

I WAS UNAWARE THAT CHILD PENS HAD STOPPED BEING MANUFACTURED. OR THAT PARENTS DIDN'T HAVE TO KEEP AN EYE ON KIDS.

Who knew?

Were you not aware that personal responsibility was totally not necessary? Tsk.

I wonder when I get my helmet in the mail so I can wear it everywhere so I don't get hurt?

I hope you weren't under the assumption that parents watch their children at all hours of the night and day because that's literally impossible. What about when the parents sleep? What about when the children sleep? Is a parent going to be standing over the child, staring at it while it sleeps? I really, really doubt it. There will always be some point in the day that the parents won't be in the same room as their kids (or even just looking away). Even if it's only for a couple of minutes, it's ample time for a kid to run to a window and get a stray cord looped around its neck. I believe in one case, the child was in its crib and had somehow managed to get the cord wrapped around his/her neck from a nearby window. Perhaps you don't understand that children will get into anything they can get their hands on as soon as they know nobody's looking. Some kids can even break out of their own cribs and get back into them without their parents knowing that they can.

Don't blame the parents when you havn't even thought about it from their point of view.
